艸雨田舞蹈劇場緣起新竹地區「欣蕾」舞蹈藝術教育中心，為紀念創辦人-王玉英教授，團長王羽靖於2016年將「蕾」字拆解為艸、雨、田，期許以職業舞團的願景，透過舞蹈及表演藝術在新竹地區拓展藝文生態環境，並持續創作累積藝文能量，以台灣的藝術養分與國際藝文團隊交流
