Underground brings together electronic music, the sheng (Chinese mouth organ), and physical theatre to construct a hybrid performance language.

The term “exosphere” refers to the outermost layer of Earth’s atmosphere—a transitional zone closest to outer space, farthest from human reach, and no longer bound by gravity.

Drawing inspiration from this astronomical concept, the work reflects on young people who carry the dreams of youth while facing an overwhelming array of choices and an uncertain future.

Behind the noise and brilliance of endless possibilities lie lingering feelings of confusion, emptiness, and solitude.

Underground invites the audience to enter this metaphorical exosphere—to coexist with loneliness and to reconstruct self-awareness.Through the crossing of dance movement and electronic sound, the work seeks a shared space of searching—together.
