「艸雨田舞蹈劇場」為台灣新竹地區唯一，以發展職業當代舞團為長期營運目標的團隊。2017年由團長暨製作人王羽靖帶領一群出身於台灣新竹地區的青年藝術家所組成，期許透過更具實驗性的創作能量，企圖為台灣的舞蹈劇場藝術找到新的風景。艸雨田舞蹈劇場以新竹在地舞者為基底、以製作行政及團隊行銷能力為側翼，廣邀台灣各地優秀的藝術家客座舞團、駐村新竹，逐年推出結合當代社會議題，展現台灣在地特色及新竹潮流的當代舞蹈創作及展演。

艸雨田在疫情期間，仍不懈努力、一直保有著高度的創作能量，無論是嘗試在非典型的空間進行環境劇場創作，又或者是嘗試和不同藝術立場與身體風格的編舞家合作，每年都在累積更多具有國際視野且深具實驗性的劇場作品，讓國際的觀眾在看艸雨田的作品時，不僅可以看到台灣編舞家不同的創作脈絡、也能看到台灣舞者身體表現風格的多樣性。
