In 2019, Producer Alison Wang reunited the original creative team behind Accomplice<\/em>, inviting Chu-Ying Ku to lead the choreographic creation and Tang-Cheng Liu to serve as dramaturg.<\/p>\n

Together, the team ventured into immersive theatre, breaking down the established separation between performer and spectator and offering audiences a unique, close-range sensory experience in which they became active participants in the performance.<\/p>\n

Through diverse performance forms, Lei Dance Theater seeks to reflect contemporary social issues and current events in Taiwan, creating an ongoing process of reflection and dialogue within the work.<\/p>\n

Accomplice<\/em> examines the violence of silence, school bullying, human rights and freedom, as well as the complex relationships that exist between ourselves and others. Perhaps each of us has, at least once, been an accomplice.<\/p>\n<\/div>
